Bonnie Johnson writes the “Page-to-Screen” column at the Los Angeles Times. Her work also appears in the The Believer, The Guardian, New York Times, Los Angeles Review of Books, The Millions, on NPR and more. She holds a graduate degree in Modern Thought from Stanford, and studied Politics and Social Policy at Stanford and the London School of Economics. In her previous career, Johnson received a Harvey Milk Club Award for her work in labor and community organizing. She lives in Los Angeles.
